Tony Harnden

CTA was set up in Kent over twenty years ago by Tony Harnden ICPA, MCMI to provide a range of Accounting Services to the business community. This included standard services offered by accountants including

• Year End Accounts
• Taxation, etc
• Management Accounting i.e. figures and information to assist in day to day running of Companies and systems for providing it, an interest evidenced by Tony's Membership of the Chartered Management Institute.

He has further expanded his approach and is now acknowledged as an expert on Small Businesses and the Self Employed, working with businesses across the South East including,  Medway, Maidstone, Sheppey, Faversham, London, Gravesend, Ashford, Canterbury, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Dartford

Tony did his accountancy training in Local Government, before switching to the private sector, and has worked as Cost Accountant, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant and Finance Director in a wide variety of Companies.

He has extensive experience in Commerce and Industry, which means he is very far from being an 'Ivory Tower' Accountant. He can relate to your problems, because he has been at the 'sharp end' in business like you. This, we feel, is our 'competitive advantage'. Tony is someone who knows the ropes and is very much 'on your side'.

Derek Harding

In addition to Tony's expertise, CTA can also call on the services of Derek Harding FAPA FCMI, as consultant. Derek is an Accountant of vast experience, who has been in public practice for many years. He is a very successful businessman, who also runs his own Accountancy and Management Consultancy Company. Derek is also a Registered Auditor and Auditing is part of our Service.

Our Staff

Paul, Janet, Julie, Tracy, Jackie, Teresa, Donna, Zoe and Chris, make sure that in addition to us producing Year End Accounts, etc, for a wide range of Businesses, we now provide a whole spectrum of Services to assist the hard pressed small businessmen and women.
